The RIAA's new plan to fend off P2P users may not be much better than its old one. Piracy filters and "three strike" policies that are instituted via ISPs raise issues of accountable data, proper legal defense and effective tracking. An is termination of a necessary utility really a fair punishment for downloading movies and/or music?
