Verizon's Fiber-Optic Service Looks Primed to Enter District of Columbia

Despite protests outside, a hearing inside the John A. Wilson building, the seat of the District of Columbia government, showed positive signs that a franchise for Verizon's fiber-optic service is imminent in the nation's capital.
