Media Mergers Threaten Community News

The past 20 years have seen an unprecedented number of media mergers among TV, radio, film, publishing and online holdings. In opposition to these massive media conglomerates is a growing bipartisan coalition of civil rights, public interest, consumer and local media organizations concerned about the quality of national and local news.
