Public Knowledge Warns of 'Grave Dangers' of Deep Packet Inspection

Gigi B. Sohn of Public Knowledge warned the Senate Commerce Committee that "Deep Packet Inspection is the Internet equivalent of the postal service reading your mail," and in some cases "passing copies of the envelopes on to third parties who do the actual reading and use."
