The results of the DTV test in Wilmington, N.C. suggest that about 5 percent of homes were either unaware or unprepared for the early DTV switch. If these numbers are right, we should expect at least 1.7 million homes will be at a loss on Feb 18, 2009, when TV stations must turn off their analog transmitters.
