A nonprofit organization has tentatively been tapped to operate Milpitas' municipal wireless Internet network. The group, Silicon Valley Unwired, is a Wi-Fi collaborative that would include the city of Milpitas, Google, I-Net Solutions and wireless equipment manufacturers.
