Buyouts at Chicago Tribune Announced, Top Editors Exit

Among those leaving the Chicago Tribune in buyouts and layoffs are three top editors, among the first exits related to cost-trimming at the Tribune Company's flagship. The staff reductions are a mix of voluntary and involuntary departures that reportedly will affect more than 20 employees.
