R.T. Rybak

Mayor of Minneapolis

R.T. Rybak is the mayor of Minneapolis. He was first elected in 2001 in his first run for public office and was re-elected in 2005. Mayor Rybak is a former journalist for the Star Tribune and former editor of the Twin Cities Reader. He also headed Internet Broadcasting Systems, which started as an online division of the Minneapolis television station WCCO-TV, and was an Internet strategist and entrepreneur before running for mayor. Mayor Rybak grew up in Minneapolis and graduated from Boston College.
