Shá Cage is an interdisciplinary artist based in Minneapolis. In addition to being an actress, she is also a playwright, poet, director, filmmaker, producer, and visual artist. She is the co-founder of MaMa mOsAiC, a women of color performance collective, serving as the co-artistic and managing director. Featured in numerous plays and performances, she has worked with Penumbra Theatre, Pangea World Theatre, Theatre De La Jeune Lune, and others. She also works in film and television. Since 2000, she has served as the development director of Trú Rúts Endeavors, and the MN Spoken Word Association, which she also co-founded.
