Prepare to party at NCMR

Yes, the conference is about important work: learning, sharing, strategizing, making connections. But we gotta have some fun while we're at it! The movement that plays together stays together.

Don't miss:

-the Thursday night NCMR Welcome Party hosted by our friends at Twin Cities Daily Planet and KFAI radio. They're bringing some of the Twin Cities’ top musical talent, including funky R&B, world music, acoustic and rock out at Trocaderos nightclub. And they're doing it just for you.

-Friday night out on the town with all your new (and old) media reform buddies. Look for info at the conference about some cool receptions, film screenings, and events happening that night...or just stroll down the street for happy hour at the nearby bars.

-our Saturday evening keynote/rally will rock your world! Hilarious comics Lizz Winstead (of the Daily Show) and Bartunde Thurston will emcee. Our smokin' DJ will spin tunes between speeches. And be ready for soul-shaking performances by Twin Cities' hot artists Maria Isa and Sha Cage.

-Saturday night: save some juice for the afterparty hosted by Yo! the Movement, featuring live performances and DJs playing hip-hop, funk, and soul at the Kitty Kat club.

Be ready for it!
