documentary film on decline of television

I am producing a documentary film about the current state and future evolution of television. It is a critical examination of how the broadcasting industry has been steadily corrupted by the influence of media consolidation, greed and mismanagement.

It is a feature length project intended for independent distribution entitled “Dark Arts in the Long Plastic Hallway.”

I will be attending the Media Reform Conference in June and I would like to shoot interviews with people who can speak about what Robert McChesney refers to as the “critical juncture” we are at in this point in history.

Any suggestions, guidance or feedback would be greatly appreciated. I would be happy to forward a copy of the film outline.

I can be contacted at mtollefson@ryerson.ca

Thanks!
