Media, Democracy and Justice - a Southern California Regional Summit

Common Cause is pleased to announce that we will be holding a media reform summit on March 29th in Los Angeles at Caltech.

http://www.commoncause.org/mediasummit

With this event, we intend to bring together interested parties to discuss the interaction between media, democracy, and economic/gender/racial justice. We want to bring together people who might not have media reform as their first issue to understand how it does impact them, and then develop an ongoing coalition of California groups and citizens to work on these issues together.

This is a first step to a greater goal of increased collaboration, increased understanding, and increased power.

If you want to see the call for participation document, email me at mediasummit at commoncause dot org.

and again, visit http://www.commoncause.org/mediasummit to register for the event, purchase a program ad, reserve an information table, and volunteer for the event.

Thanks!

..Jon
