surrounded by the right-wing

Thos of us here in Norman Oklahoma have only our local newspaper for valid and reasonably unbiased news about our community. Other than that we must rely on a few weeklys and the major newspaper around our parts... The Daily Oklahoman that we derisively refer to as the Jokelahoman. Then there are the OKC (20 miles north) TV and Radio stations that one would think are owned by the OKC chamber of commerce. Certainly the radio stations are just about all owned by Clear Channel. We do have a local NPR station that does its best with its limited budget... actually does quite well. Anyway we're agitating for our own low-power radio station.
