A question of heritage

I hope that sometime soon, one of the Republican appointees to the FCC will realize that in the long run, Rupert Murdoch is not good for America.

People like Murdoch want one thing: fast profits for themselves.  The actual state of the country is of
little interest to them. They may profess a certain ideology and pursue it, but in the end they are hucksters.  How an Australian newspaper magnate ever acheived so much influence in this country
is a cautionary tale about the destruction of the best part of the American heritage: liberty and justice for all.  You can't have the latter with an unfree press devoting much of its time to infotainment,
gossip, etc. at the expense of educating the public on reasonably provable truths.
