Cell Phone Firms Answering Calls to Trim Early Termination Fees

The desire of wireless carriers to avoid state lawsuits over cell phone contract termination fees has some consumer advocates questioning the motives of an FCC proposal that would trim fees slightly but render state jurisdiction -- and lawsuits -- moot.
