Cliff Schecter

Cliff Schecter is the author of The Real McCain: Why Conservatives Don't Trust Him And Why Independents Shouldn't, which has already become a best-seller. Schecter is also the author and editor of Cliff Schecter's Campaign Silo at Firedoglake.com (http://cliffschecter.firedoglake.com) and is a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and the Guardian. Schecter, a Ph.D candidate in American history, has been a regular presence on television and radio as a political commentator on CNN, MSNBC, Fox, NPR, PBS and Air America. He has also written for a variety of publications, including Reuters, the San Francisco Chronicle, the Philadelphia Daily News, The Washington Monthly and The American Prospect. Schecter lives in Columbus, Ohio, with his wife Anne, son Dougie and two cats, Toby and Penelope.
