Kat Aaron
Kat Aaron is co-director of People's Production House, a comprehensive media justice organization in New York. She has extensive experience as a print and radio journalist and has been teaching radio classes since 2005. She began working in radio while still in her teens and is now a producer for Wakeup Call, the morning news show at WBAI-FM 99.5. Kat was instrumental in local independent coverage of the 2004 Republican National Convention, where she coordinated the 24-hour streaming radio broadcast of the protests and the issues behind them. Until 2005, she was the communications director at the nationally renowned economic justice organization, the Neighborhood Economic Development Advocacy Project.
