Tania Unzueta
Radio Arte
Tania Unzueta is currently the director of youth training and community programming and a radio producer at 90.5 FM WRTE Radio Arte Chicago. She teaches journalism and broadcasting classes, mentors young radio producers, and hosts a weekly Spanish-language radio show on immigration, Sin Papeles. Tania is also involved in several community organizations around issues of immigration, LGBTQ rights, and youth empowerment, and recently became part of the board of directors of the Chicago Freedom School. She has also written for La Raza newspaper and Identity magazine. She has a B.A. in sociology and gender studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
