Susan Satter
Susan L. Satter is a senior assistant attorney general in Illinois and focuses on issues related to public utilities, including telecommunications, electricity, natural gas, and water. She was deeply involved in the development of the Cable and Video Competition Act of 2007, which allows statewide video franchising while protecting consumer rights and the public interest in PEG access to the new technology. Prior to joining the attorney general's office in 2000, she was spent six years as lead counsel at the Citizens Utility Board and several more years in private practice. She graduated from IIT/Chicago Kent College of Law in 1983.
