Leonie Campbell-Williams

Asian American Justice Center

Leonie L. Campbell-Williams is the director of communications for the Asian American Justice Center (AAJC), a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that works to advance the human and civil rights of Asian Americans through advocacy, public policy, public education and litigation. In this role, Campbell-Williams oversees all aspects of AAJC's communications efforts, including strategic planning and the development and management of the organization's Web site. She also serves as the director of AAJC's media diversity program. Campbell-Williams joined AAJC from the District of Columbia public school system, where she served as public affairs specialist and was responsible for coordinating communications strategy, serving as spokesperson and overseeing the day-to-day communications operation. Campbell-Williams holds a master's degree in mass communication from Towson State University, along with a bachelor's in public relations from Delaware State University.
