LUS Fiber Project Still on Schedule

Lafayette Utlities System is making progress on its fiber-to-the-home project and still expects to serve its first fiber customer in January.
LUS Director Terry Huval said the head-end building, which will be on Distribution Drive and will serve as the hub of fiber operations, has been delivered and is being fitted with wiring and other equipment.
