Peter Gordon
Peter Gordon is the owner and founder of Thirsty Ear Recordings, a 31-year-old independent record label based in Norwalk, Conn., that has released more than 300 albums in styles ranging from industrial rock to classical. Gordon is a founding board member of the American Association of Independent Music, a national trade organization, and has served as its acting president. Gordon was the lead negotiator in the landmark FCC radio accord between the four major radio networks and the independent music industry, and is currently the vice president of the World Independent Network (WIN), whose members consist of more than 20 international music trade organizations that are committed to policy, advocacy and cultural development through independent music. Gordon is also a musician and producer.
