Today we're rolling out the agenda of programs and workshops for the 2008 National Conference for Media Reform -- more than 60 sessions to choose from and nearly 250 presenters lined up.
Among them:

  • Legendary journalists and modern-day muckrakers like Bill
    Moyers, Dan Rather, Amy Goodman, Maria Hinojosa and
    Naomi Klein
  • Amazing grassroots organizers like Malkia Cyril, Hannah
    Sassaman, Rosa Clemente, Wally Bowen and Malia Lazu
  • Civil rights leaders and social justice activists like Van
    Jones, Kim Gandy, Alex Nogales and Rev. Lennox Yearwood
  • Internet visionaries and new media innovators like Lawrence
    Lessig, Tim Wu, Arianna Huffington, and Jane Hamsher
  • Music, film, and independent media makers like Davey D,
    Robert Greenwald, Greg Watkins and Katrina vanden Heuvel
  • Political leaders and policymakers including Sen. Byron
    Dorgan, Rep. Mike Doyle and FCC Commissioners Michael Copps
    and Jonathan Adelstein
