George Stoney

George Stoney is a documentary filmmaker specializing in films for social change since 1946. He has been on NYU's faculty since 1970. He served as executive director for the Canadian National Film Board's Challenge for Change program from 1968-70 and helped launch New York City's cable access program in 1971. He is a board member of Manhattan Neighborhood Network and The New York Film and Video Council.
