Alison Hanold, projects coordinator at the Center for Social Media, has taken the helm as the lead researcher into viral video trends regarding fair use. After receiving her B.A. from DePaul University, Alison worked as a production coordinator and editor in Chicago. She was also the youngest member of the board of directors for Women in Film Chicago, where she established the Student WIF program. Alison is currently pursuing an MFA in documentary filmmaking at American University.
