Josh Wolf
Josh Wolf is an independent journalist, a filmmaker, and an activist. On Aug. 1, 2006, he was remanded into custody after he invoked his constitutional rights and refused to comply with a federal judge's order that he submit his testimony and unpublished footage of a 2005 protest to a grand jury. He was released after spending 226 days in a federal detention center and is the longest imprisoned journalist in U.S. history to protect source material. Since his release, he has written for CNET, the San Francisco Daily, and Fog City Journal. Josh is currently exploring the possibilities of live Internet news coverage, and is excited about using twitter for breaking news and streaming video over cellular networks.
