Nick Penniman

Nick Penniman is the founder and director of the American News Project. Previously, he served as the Washington director of the Schumann Center for Media and Democracy, the publisher of the Washington Monthly, the editor of TomPaine.com, program director of the Campaign for America's Future, associate editor of the American Prospect, director of the Alliance for Democracy and editor of the Lincoln Journal. He has served on multiple nonprofit boards, including the Homeless Empowerment Project and the Roosevelt Institution.
