Jim Pagliarini
Jim Pagliarini joined Twin Cities Public Television as its fifth president and CEO in September 1997. He began his career in public broadcasting in 1976 at KTEH in San Jose, Calif. Before joining Twin Cities Public Television, Pagliarini helped found public television station KNPB in Reno, Nev. While in Reno, he served two terms as a member of the board of directors of PBS, including positions on the board's executive and nominating committees and as vice chair of the board's finance committee. He was re-elected to the PBS board in 2006 and will chair the board's strategic planning advisory committee. He has also served on numerous national task forces that explored, refined and redefined the business of public television. He is a past chairman of the Pacific Mountain Network's board of directors; past president of the Nevada Broadcasters' Association, and served a two-year term as the national coordinator of public television's Small Station Association. More recently, Pagliarini has served on CPB's Digital Funding and Digital Rights Task Force. Pagliarini is also a member of the board of directors of the Agency for Instructional Technology. Pagliarini received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and his master's degree from Temple University.
