Janis Lane-Ewart
Janis Lane-Ewart is executive director of KFAI-FM, Fresh Air Radio. She joined KFAI in 2001 and is responsible for general management, fundraising and development, fiscal operations, and program development. Lane-Ewart also serves as one of KFAI's 200 volunteer programmers, hosting a weekly jazz program, The Collective Eye. Lane-Ewart has an extensive background as an arts administrator working with community, regional and nationally based arts organizations. She has a strong background in community service. She is on the boards of Community Shares of Minnesota and COMPAS and has served regionally as immediate past president of the Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations (AMPERS) and nationally as president of the National Federation of Community Broadcasters.
