Eric Klinenberg

Eric Klinenberg is professor of sociology at New York University and a fellow at the Stanford Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences. He is the author of Fighting for Air: The Battle to Control America's Media and of Heat Wave: A Social Autopsy of Disaster in Chicago. In addition to his scholarship, Klinenberg has written for Rolling Stone, The Nation, the New York Times, the Washington Post, and This American Life.
