Jeremy Iggers

Jeremy Iggers recently ended a 20-plus year career with the Minneapolis Star Tribune to become executive director of the Twin Cities Media Alliance, the nonprofit organization that operates the Twin Cities Daily Planet. TCMA also offers citizen journalism classes and media skills workshops, and holds public forums on media issues. During his journalism career, Iggers wrote about food, restaurants and ethics, and won two national awards for overseas reporting. Iggers has a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Minnesota (1993); his doctoral thesis on the ethics of journalism was published as Good News, Bad News: Journalism Ethics and the Public Interest (Westview Press, 1998).
