Democrats took over both the House of Representatives and the Senate in 2006; regardless of which party eventually seizes control of the White House and Congress in 2008, the media policy landscape will change dramatically with a new administration. How has media policy fared over the past two years under a Democratic Congress, and what are some of the key initiatives regulators and policymakers will be pursuing in the next two years? Key members of Congress and FCC commissioners will look at media policies beyond this fall’s election.
