Council OKs Transfer of WiFi Network to City

With the stamp of approval from the City Council Tuesday, the city and EarthLink will start transferring the city's Wi-Fi network within the next 45 days.

The agreement approved by the council and city staff is contingent upon whether EarthLink signs it, however EarthLink officials played a role in drafting the agreement together with city staff so it is expected to be approved.
