Oversight of the Federal Communication Commission- 700 MHz Auction

The subcommittee on Telecommunications and the Internet (a subcommittee of the Committee on Energy and Commerce) will review the Federal Communication Commission's 700 MHz Auction. Witnesses to include FCC Chairman Kevin Martin and Commissioners Copps, Adelstein, Tate, and McDowell on the first panel, and Deputy Chief Charles Dowd of the New York City Police Department, Robert J. Irving, Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Leap Wireless International Inc., Harold Feld, Senior Vice President of the Media Access Project, Rear Admiral Robert F. Duncan, Senior Vice President, Government Services, Rivada Networks, Morgan O'Brien, Chariman, Cyren Call Communications Corporation, Harlin McEwen, Chairman and CEO Public Safety Spectrum Trust, Steven Zipperstein, Vice President and General Counsel, Verizon Wireless, and Coleman Bazelon, PhD., Principal, The Brattle Group.
