The CIW is a community-based worker organization. Our members are largely Latino, Haitian, and Mayan Indian immigrants working in low-wage jobs throughout the state of Florida. Through the years we have documented our struggle, telling our story in our own words, with dispatches from the front lines of the fight for justice in Florida's fields. We've even started our own low-power community-radio station.

Through education, organizing and advocacy, we promote diverse and independent media ownership, strong public media and universal access to communications.
