Longtime NAB chief Fritts resigns

Edward O. Fritts, the president and CEO of the National Association of Broadcasters, who was the face of the TV and radio industry for over two decades, announced his retirement Wednesday.
Fritts, 64, notified the NAB board of directors Wednesday of his desire to begin the succession process that will lead to the selection of a new president and CEO, the trade association announced.
