Murdoch's Dow Jones Deal Clears Antitrust Hurdle Early

News Corp.'s $5 billion deal to take over Dow Jones & Co. was granted early termination of the Hart-Scott-Rodion Antitrust Act waiting period, the two companies said.
The deal, which is expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year, awaits certain other regulatory approvals, and must be approved by Dow Jones stockholders.
