Lafayette's Fiber to the Home project could be the largest in the United States, according to the CEO of the Georgia-based company that will oversee design and construction of the city's fiber network.

James Salter, CEO of Atlantic Engineering Group, said Lafayette has the largest customer base of all the cities in the U.S. implementing fiber projects.
