The vote that drew the most enthusiastic response at Town Meeting in Westford was a plan to bring high-speed Internet to town.

Residents applauded after the proposal was unanimously approved.

The towns of Westford, Jericho and Underhill all passed an advisory item to create a fiber-optic network, possibly through Burlington Telecom.
