T-Mobile Antitrust Challenge Leaves AT&T with Little Recourse on Takeover

AT&T wouldn't have much luck trying to salvage its proposed $39 billion takeover of T-Mobile through negotiation with the Justice Department, leaving a court fight as its only recourse, lawyers said. And given the size of the cancellation fee AT&T would hand over to T-Mobile, AT&T has good incentive to fight for the deal.
