What Will Gov. Perdue Do?

North Carolina Gov. Bev Perdue has until midnight to save community broadband in her state, and send a resounding message to the nation that telecom companies don't dictate politics. The governor can do this by vetoing a bill that would stop local communities from building their own high-speed Internet networks. If signed into law, this bill would have repercussions far beyond North Carolina. North Carolina and the nation are waiting on Gov. Perdue's response.
