The House Communications Subcommittee approved an FCC process reform bill by a vote of 14 to 9 along strict party lines. Republicans pitched the bill as a way to improve the FCC by "increasing transparency, predictability and consistency as part of Republicans' ongoing effort to ensure the commission's work encourages job creation, investment, and innovation."
