Tuscaloosa city leaders are confident that the expansion of a city-sponsored free Wi-Fi network is not only feasible but will prove to be an important tool for low-income residents in the future. Since last fall, the Tide-Fi Wi-Fi network has provided free Internet access across the Strip for two hours a day.
