Australia to Permit In-Flight Mobile Phone Calls

The Australian Communications and Media Authority has finalized the licensing arrangements to permit the use of mobile phones on aircraft. The ACMA has consulted closely with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority, which has raised no technical objections to the new arrangements.
