Groups trying to preserve equal access to the Internet for all converged on Sen. James Jeffords' office on Thursday to urge him to support the principle of "net neutrality."

Jeffords' office issued a statement saying he already does, and a key organizer of Thursday's event agreed that the senator "is heading in the right direction."
