Sometime next spring, area computer users will be able to tap into a citywide wireless Internet network, allowing them to check their e-mail, surf the Web and pay bills from anywhere within city limits.

But before that can happen, network engineers with the wireless company MobilePro and with the city must devise a plan to install about 600 antennas across Longmont.
