A Terre Haute-based Fox television station is among 77 stations being investigated by the Federal Communications Commission for use of video news releases.

The investigation is the result of a study, "Fake TV News: Widespread and Undisclosed," done by the Center for Media and Democracy, a Wisconsin-based nonprofit organization that monitors the public relations industry.
