Some 200 amendments will be on the table Thursday when the Senate Commerce committee meets to consider a massive overhaul of the nation's telecommunications laws. Silicon Valley wants the committee to pass an amendment that would regulate net neutrality, or the even-handed treatment of Internet traffic.
