New Jersey Senate Re-examines Statewide Franchising Bill

A video franchising proposal in New Jersey that has long been the subject of fierce debate in the Garden State cleared a major legislative hurdle.
The state Assembly approved a measure, S.192, which would enable video providers to obtain statewide franchises. The state Senate passed its version of the bill last week.
