Indie label TSR Records is expected to file a lawsuit today (March 28) against Warner Music Group over payola allegations, according to a source. The action is a companion suit to the one filed by TSR against Sony BMG last October, three months after the major label settled a payola investigation with New York State attorney general Eliot Spitzer.
